Modest hotel with nice pool. Our property rooms were reasonably spacious and attractive, in good condition. Plenty of goodies for breakfast.

Thanks everyone for a really great stay especially on a business trip. The room in good condition. The food was good - a huge variety of options.
Thought that there would be breakfast, but we were wrong.

I liked the location (next to freeway) very much.
My first impression was that I had chosen a facility that is on the decline. Staff at the check- in desk were cordial, and polite, but could use more training on a professional and efficient appearance. The common room needs paint and sprucing up; something a little more welcoming. I wanted bottled water, but the drink machines would not take several paper dollars I tried to insert so I gave up (because I was too uncomfortable to walk around and find assistance). The maid service was also cordial and polite, but overly insistent on helping with my luggage. As a single middle aged woman traveling alone; I prefer handling my own luggage, and avoid allowing strangers into my room. The staff person who offered assistance had a number of tattoos and piercings which were putting off. My room was 2nd floor at the very back of the facility. Since I arrived around 3:30 pm, the parking area was quite empty, especially at the back of the building, and it felt isolated (alarmed). Once in my room, I secured the locks, turned on the tv (very low) and was afraid to open my door until early morning when I was dressed and ready to depart for San Jose Airport to catch a flight. Much of my discomfort and paranoia could have been avoided if my first impression was more reassuring. The lobby and common area are stark and unwelcoming, and check in-staff need more training. Finally, I might mention that at the registration desk there were a couple of very visible signs informing guests about pool use and rules (which alerted me to previous problems). At registration I did not see any signs welcoming guests or notices for breakfast service which I would have appreciated.

I like the close on & off to Hwy 101.
Although I had a "non smoking" room, it still smelled like smoke. I realize that once a room had been inundated with cigarette smoke, no amount of cleaning is going to remove the smell unless you pull the carpet, paint the walls, change the window dressing, and replace all the furniture. I do not have asthma, but I did have some trouble because of the smell (I am a heart patient). I did not ask for a room change because I have done that in the past at other hotels and ended up in a room that was just as bad or worse. The bed was comfortable. It would be nice if you supplied small refrigerators & microwaves in each room.

It is cheap motel, located acc. 2 hours from San Francisco. I needed place to sleep, next morning i went to SF. Room was clean, staff ok. Continental breakfast: just muffins, tea/ coffe/ juice.

friendly and curteous customer service. Staff was able to relocate me since I was unhappy with a non-smoking room. Staff treated one like if we were known even tough it was our first time.

Great value for what I paid. It was clean, quiet, close enough to Monterey and close to shops and restaurants.
The location was in an industrial are but tolerable.

The customer service was top-notch, with the front desk staff being super friendly and accommodating. The cleaning staff did an amazing job, providing us with fresh towels and promptly taking care of our trash. The minimal noise from other guests ensured a peaceful and restful stay, allowing my 4-year-old grandbaby to sleep without disturbance. The location was perfect, conveniently close to the freeway and within easy reach of the area's attractions. Having a Starbucks right next door was a pleasant surprise for breakfast options. The price was unbeatable compared to other hotels in the area.

Not clean. Dirty dusty corners. Hairs in the bathroom. Smelly. Cigarette burns ob the bed cover in a non smoking room. WiFi is charged for and very slow. Do yourself a favor spending a few bucks more sleeping clean.
